INTRODUCING BIBBLE
Bibble is a small girl, with a big personality! She is 5 years old, and about 7kgs in weight. 💥💥Available for FOSTER, FOSTER to ADOPT, or ADOPTION💥💥Currently in Southport, Merseyside PR9.
Bibble is a small girl with a sassy attitude to life. She knows what she wants, and doesn’t want. Once she trusts you, she is an attention seeker for cuddles and affection. However, she can be independent and take herself off when she feels she has had enough. She doesn’t really enjoy being picked up.
She is almost fully housetrained and sleeps fine through the night. She has bursts of energy where she likes to zoom around the daycare at speed. She plays and walks fine with other dogs, and shares a kennel with a small male dog. She doesn’t like children to be in close range of her, so we need an adult only home for Bibble, or a home with older dog savvy children. She previously had a serious case of food guarding, but this has now improved enormously. However, the new carer will need to continue management of this, to prevent a reoccurrence (our behaviour team can support this). She still likes to be left alone while eating. She now sees new people as potential sources of exciting and rewarding things, but it is still best if any meetings with strangers are done on neutral ground, rather than in the home. She is happiest when she feels safe, and interactions are not rushed. She has a prey drive so should not be rehomed with cats.
Bibble adores her walks and she walks beautifully, with a slack lead and non pulling. She doesn’t react to things when out on walks. She travels well in the car. She is very intelligent, and picks up tricks fast, and is very eager to please her trusted people. She is quite a foodie and loves treats. When she trusts you, she seeks out fuss, working the room looking for belly tickles.

The Responsible Dog Rescue provides incredible support to all fosters and new adopters. We are a community, and we help each other. We have behaviour experts, and lots of experienced fosterers, on hand to help you.
We always advise slow and supervised introductions to other pets, and of course, always have safe introductions to children. For adopting dogs, all children in the household must be at least 5 years old, but we want an adult only home for Bibble. Direct access to a private, secure garden is required.
