Blom

INTRODUCING LIV and BLOM

Bonded mother and daughter – Mother (Liv) is about 4 years old, daughter (Blom) is about 17 months old 💥💥Available for FOSTER (Could lead to ADOPTION)💥💥Both are small, about 8kgs.

Liv and Blom are a beautiful mother and daughter. They were found on a highway in Romania, in November 2025. They were transferred to a public shelter and then to a foster (where they are now), where there are many dogs kept in the yard together. They get on well with the other dogs.

Liv has a gypsy burn mark on her nose – probably from a hot poker. She also has a very short tail (not sure if she was born like this, or whether it was cut). This means that her time is running out – we need to get her to the UK very soon before the new legislation which will prevent her from travelling. Blom has a long tail. Liv is a fantastic mother to Blom. They have both clearly been badly treated by people – Liv is a bit nervous of people, but her confidence is building. Blom is still very nervous of people. Blom must be kept with her mother – she is too scared to face the world without Liv.

We know it is a big ask for someone to take two dogs at once. However, this pair is absolutely gorgeous, and they are both small dogs which such a strong bond. You really would be saving two lives.

If you would like to foster Liv and Blom, and understand the commitment you are making when you take on a rescue dog, please complete the form using the link below, or ask one of our volunteers and they will be happy to help.😇😇

The Responsible Dog Rescue provides incredible support to all fosters and new adopters. We are a community, and we help each other. We have behaviour experts, and lots of experienced fosterers, on hand to help you.

We always advise slow and supervised introductions to other pets, and of course, always have safe introductions to children. For fostering dogs, all children in the household must be at least 5 years old. Direct access to a private, secure garden is required.
