Yoko

INTRODUCING YOKO

4 year old (approx.) Female 💥💥Available for FOSTER (could lead to ADOPTION)💥💥 Fine with other dogs, not bothered by cats.

Yoko is a beautiful girl, on the smaller side of medium (11kgs). She was hit by a car and sustained breaks to her front left and back left legs. The fracture on the front left was particularly bad, and she was pinned for several months. The pins have now been removed, and she has recovered well. She may become stronger on her front leg in the future, but she will always walk with a limp.

However, this doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She is a very agile girl, loves to run around and play and she is extremely affectionate with people, on her own terms. She is not comfortable with being picked up, held or being put in a crate - she probably remembers all the bad times she has had.

She gets on well with other dogs and is not bothered by cats. She is currently in a foster home in Romania, but she would really love to have a home of her own in the UK. She would thrive in a quiet home, and she does not need long walks.

If you would like to foster Yoko, and understand the commitment you are making when you take on a rescue dog, please complete the form using the link below, or ask one of our volunteers and they will be happy to help.😇😇

The Responsible Dog Rescue provides incredible support to all fosters and new adopters. We are a community, and we help each other. We have behaviour experts, and lots of experienced fosterers, on hand to help you.

We always advise slow and supervised introductions to other pets, and of course, always have safe introductions to children. For fostering dogs, all children in the household must be at least 8 years old. Direct access to a private, secure garden is required.
