INTRODUCING SIMBA

5 year old (approx.) Male 💥💥Available for ADOPTION💥💥Currently in Staffordshire, UK. Fine with other dogs, and also with cats. Also fine to be an only dog, as long as his owner is around most of the time.

Simba is a beautiful medium sized boy (18.5kgs), aged about 5 years old. He is fully housetrained and sleeps in a crate in a bedroom. He is described by his foster as an “affectionate, fun loving and happy” dog. He is great with children – very calm, and enjoys the fuss. He currently lives with 6 dogs and 3 cats. He will play with the dogs, and is well behaved with the cats.

Through stress and bad diet, Simba lost all of his hair. He is now being well looked after, with a suitable diet and salmon oil, and his hair is slowly growing back. So he might look a bit odd in his photos at the moment, but rest assured that this boy is a stunner when his hair grows back – an absolutely beautiful dog.

He walks well on the lead and harness – he listens to commands and is very obedient. He has been clicker trained by his foster and is now very calm when he meets other dogs out on walks. He loves to roam around in the garden. He travels perfectly in the car. He knows his basic commands and is responsive to treats.

Simba is an affectionate boy who enjoys strokes, kisses and cuddles, and he loves to snuggle up with you on the sofa and snooze. He doesn’t like to be picked up. He has no separation anxiety, but he is always with other dogs when his foster leaves the home. He really loves human company so he would be fine as the only dog in the home as long as his owner is there most of the time. Equally, he would be happy to live with other dogs and/or cats.

We always advise slow and supervised introductions to other pets, and of course, always have safe introductions to children. For adopting dogs, all children in the household must be at least 5 years old. Direct access to a private, secure garden is required.
